A good way to spruce up unsightly old radiators is to hide the heater not the heat.  Decorative radiator covers made to fit virtually any shape, size, or style radiator is a solution that can work in any space.  This particular situation had a forced air heat/air conditioning blowing out  the top of  the unit. We placed the vent on the top, surround the rest in a manor best matching the customers liking.  In this case that was a modern colonial style, finished Williamsburg blue.
